Christopher Bradford is a Utah-based composer who has received widespread acclaim. At age 23, Bradford has had works premiered in countries around the world, and his pieces are regularly performed by top groups. He keeps a busy commission schedule, writing for a wide gamut of instrumentation.

​In 2018, the University of Utah Chamber Choir premiered two of Bradford’s works at the China International Choral Festival of 2018 in Beijing. The Chamber Choir also gave a performance at the National Taiwan Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2019 the National Flute Association commissioned Bradford to write a piece for flute duo and piano which was premiered at the NFA Conference of 2019. The Utah Symphony also performed Bradford’s Carols in December 2019.

Bradford is an equally accomplished percussionist who frequently plays and records his own works. The University of Utah performed his “Ignisö Marimba Quartet as part of the University Chamber Competition at PASIC 2019 with the composer playing in the quartet. He is well oriented as a composer of percussion and was selected as one of the winners of Portland Percussion Group’s Call for Scores in 2016.
