sanford-dole

Sanford Dole, born in Berkeley, California in 1955, holds degrees in composition and conducting from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He was a founding member Chanticleer and had long tenures with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra Chorale. A lifelong church musician, Sanford has been the Music Director at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco for 30 years. In addition he has been the Artistic Director of the Palo Alto-based community choir, Bay Choral Guild, since 2000.
