Throughout his adult life, Bernard Ovink has been an enthusiastic choir singer - from small a cappella groups to the prestigious London Symphony Chorus.

His current choir specializes in contemporary classical choral music - and this has encouraged him to try and apply to choral writing his love of musical shapes and unfolding harmonies.

As the composer remarks, “The public performances which I have obtained have been very successful - and it has been particularly gratifying to receive considerable feedback from the performers that my music was so very rewarding to sing.”
