Paul Hennessee conducts premier

Paul Hennessee’s piece, Moon, O Moon in the Empty Sky was performed by the Cantigas Women's Choir, directed by Joan Litman, on Saturday, December 12th at St. Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoboken, NJ. The composer adds: “I was honored to be asked to conduct the piece, and my 13-year-old daughter (who was a big part of the inspiration for the composition) was asked to sing the opening solo. It was a magical winter night!”

Eduardo Andrés Malachevsky honored at 2012 World Music Days Festival

De Profundis Magnificat is one of the pieces included on the present (August-November 2012) European tour of the award winning choir Philippine Madrigal Singers. It was sung last August at the Guidoneum Festival during the 60 Concorso Polifonico Guido d’Arezzo (Arezzo, Italy). This choir, honored by the UNESCO as Artists for Peace, also sang the piece piece on a recent concert tour in Singapore.
