Lorri Froggét (b. 1968) is a very passionate voice teacher, composer, and performer. She feels teaching singing is her first calling, and she cares deeply about the learning experience of every student with whom she works. She studied composition with Martin Amlin at Boston University where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance in 1992. She completed a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oregon in 1994. As a soloist, she has performed many genres including opera, art song, musical theater, and jazz. She has taught private voice lessons full time in her own studio since 1995, and also taught Class Voice at Bellevue College for 13 years.

For nearly two decades, she has been involved in Seattle’s rich choral-music community as both a performer and a composer. She is deeply grateful to Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble, directed by Loren Pontén, and The Esoterics, directed by Eric Banks, for having performed and commercially recorded her compositions. She currently resides in Seattle, where she continues her work as a composer and teaches voice in her private studio.
