Nicholas Weininger (b. 1978) is a software engineer by profession and a choral musician by avocation and passion. Nick holds a Ph.D. in pure mathematics from Rutgers University and works as an engineering lead at Google. He has sung with the International Orange Chorale of San Francisco (IOCSF) since 2007.

Since 2010, inspired by his IOCSF experience and encouraged by a generous group of composer friends, Weininger has turned his hand to writing choral music. IOCSF has premiered several of his works including it may not always be so; and i say, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away, and The Lamp. In 2015 he was chosen as the inaugural IOCSF Composer-in-Residence. In October 2013 the Aries Composers Festival featured it may not always be so; and i say in its concert of new choral works, and in March 2014 the First Readings Project premiered his Ozymandias.

He lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.
